On two neighboring porches, Doña Irene and Mrs. Jenkins have spent more than twenty-five years sharing laughter, memories, gossip, and opinions about the world around them. But when they stop talking long enough to listen, their everyday conversations begin to uncover what has remained unspoken for years. Through humor and heart, The Front Porch explores friendship, aging, family, race, faith, forgiveness, and the assumptions we make about others, ultimately reminding us that sometimes family is simply the person who stays long enough to hear your whole story.
