I'm Joe Elvis Alway, a playwright, songwriter, director, and choreographer with more than 40 years in theater. I've spent my career bringing powerful stories to life on stage and 33 years in the classroom helping young artists find their voices as playwrights, songwriters, poets, and performers.

Discovering and nurturing new talent is what drives me. As founder of the Multicultural Arts Foundation of St. Louis, I'm proud to bring creativity, opportunity, and inclusion to underserved communities.

With more than 40 years in the performing arts and 33 years in education, Joe Elvis Alway has worked on over 500 productions as an actor, dancer, director, choreographer, and producer. His career spans professional and educational theater, film, television, dance, and songwriting and is driven by a lifelong commitment to helping artists of every age find their creative voice.

EDUCATOR CERTIFICATIONS

28 completed courses in student safety, mental health, de-escalation, and dyslexia instruction, including the Orton-Gillingham Approach and the Davis Method.
