Joe Elvis Alway is a playwright, director, choreographer, songwriter, educator, speaker, ministry leader, and creative entrepreneur who has spent more than four decades helping people discover their potential through faith, creativity, education, and the arts.

From The Bronx, New York, Joe's journey has taken him from performing on stages as a young artist to working in the entertainment industry in Hollywood, creating original theatrical works, and mentoring thousands of students, artists, and leaders. He has written nearly 40 original plays and musicals and hundreds of original songs, using storytelling as a tool for inspiration, personal growth, cultural understanding, and transformation.

Throughout his career, Joe has directed productions, developed arts programs, collaborated as a dramaturg and co-writer, taught theater and dance, and created opportunities for people of all ages to find their voice and tell their stories. He is the founder of the Multicultural Arts Foundation, creator of the FUEGO dance fitness program, and a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, the Dramatists Guild of America, and the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures.

Today, Joe serves as Director of Youth & Family Ministry at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and is the founder of Created to Become, a platform dedicated to helping individuals discover their purpose, develop their gifts, and embrace the ongoing journey of becoming who they were created to be.

Beyond his work in the arts and education, Joe has long been committed to social justice, human dignity, and community advocacy. Throughout his life, he has supported initiatives that promote equality, inclusion, educational opportunity, human rights, and compassionate care for vulnerable populations.

Whether through artistic expression, mentorship, ministry, or public service, he believes creativity has the power to inspire dialogue, foster understanding, and help build a more just and compassionate world.
